Apparently people believe today is a very lucky day. It will be the last for a while and the aligned numbers won’t occur until Jan. 1, 3001, or 1-1-1. Wow, that just made me realize how weird it’s going to be to start abbreviating dates in the future. How are we going to separate decades, too? “I was born in the 90’s.” “I was born in the…twenty tens?” How do you say you were born in the 2000-2010 decade?

Anyway, I saw a video on ABC News about a couple that got married right at midnight on 12-12-12 and they were excited because they believed it would bring good things to their marriage. I just kind of laughed inside because the woman looked like a very young blondie woman and the man looked very…old and balding. It screamed trophy wife to me, but who knows, maybe the woman just looks exceptionally young or the man just naturally looks a lot older than he really is. Or maybe it’s an “age doesn’t matter” type of love. Orrrrr she’s a golddigger making some bank. Haha…

I don’t think anything extraordinary will happen today, but I agree that this date is definitely a “cute” one. I’d rather people believe in 12-12-12 rather than 12-21-12! :p Which, by the way, would mean the world is ending the day before my birthday. Lol.
