Yep, it’s that time of year!

Hmm, it seems like the hype is not as good as we hoped. We were all planning on a limo…but I just realized that they obviously up their prices during prom time (smart). Considering I’d like to buy pictures, corsage/boutonnière, accessories, and dinner…I might not be able to afford it. Luckily for me, I don’t have to pay for the hairdresser (*winks at mom*).

But I can’t see why people are complaining about our ticket prices. It’s $73 per ticket. Eh, not bad. Also, today I just realized that most schools sell tickets for COUPLES. Wow. I didn’t know that! Considering our school is pretty new and quite different in many aspects, I guess it’s no surprise that we’re breaking traditions, but yeah…I had no idea it was the norm for tickets to be sold only by twos. That sucks if you have an odd number of friends and you aren’t going with a date! Sheesh. I thought times were changing and you didn’t need a date to go to prom. No wonder people stress getting a date. It’s like pushed upon us, even within buying tickets.

Marty bought my ticket <3 Sooo sweet. I love that boy 🙂 I think no matter how good or bad prom will be, I'll still enjoy it because I'll be with him. PS my mom is added to the group of moms who think all kids have sex after prom. -_-
