It’s not even Thanksgiving yet here, but all of the Christmas decorations are up and ready to go! haha. I know some people are annoyed by the early displays, but I personally don’t mind it. It only means that we get to enjoy the pretty lights for a longer period of time. Going around the mall on Friday night pretty much put me in Christmas shopping mode, so on Saturday I started & finished my Christmas shopping online, lol. I can’t really afford to buy extravagant gifts for all my friends like I used to a few years back anymore, so I settled upon getting lots of cute little things.

I just had a really rough week last week…which is why after my day off from Veteran’s Day, the following week was post-less here again. I had the most difficult molecular lab report to do, physics homework, and two consecutive exams…with research lab hours in between. For at least 2 or 3 days of the week, I don’t think I slept more than a few hours a night – I can’t even remember how much sleep I got in total. So on Friday night, I crashed big time, and slept in on Saturday – and continued to sleep most of Saturday. haha. Recuperating! Thank goodness for weekends.

I’m really excited for Thanksgiving, my birthday(!), and then Christmas soon enough. Of course, I do have a big formal report due during the Thanksgiving holiday and winter break only comes after final exams…so I’ve still got a long way to go. One step at a time!
