Being a girl, I like shopping. Sometimes it’s fun looking for what kind of gifts would be perfect for someone else, or digging through the sales rack to buy something nice for myself without feeling guilty or like I blew all my money away, haha. We went shopping after eating a huge meal (it was in between lunch and dinner that acted as both) and it was pretty fun because for once the boyfriend and I both found things we both liked for ourselves. For me it’s no fun being the one who buys stuff and my shopping partner has come empty handed (and vice versa). I happily walked away with a skirt and a shirt, each costing $5 on the sales rack haha.

I chose this picture because every time I come across this area, I just marvel at the pretty lights. Especially at night when you’re walking under the canopy of lights, it feels like you’re looking at a million stars. I suppose I could have taken a picture with a view from under the lights, but as luck would have it, my camera died from low battery right after I took this last picture, haha.
