- Be Asian
- Have a sheepish smile on your face
- Slap some cutesy stickers on there
- Don’t wear makeup
- Fix your hair into something that resembles anime hair
- Reap the benefits(???)
But seriously though, I decided to take this picture of myself when I woke up one morning and found my hair like that. It was exactly like that when I woke up and I did not do anything to it. Sometimes I sleep with my hair in a ponytail and end up sliding the hairtie away from my head so that it doesn’t bother me when I sleep. When I saw myself in the mirror, I thought, Whoa, I woke up as an anime character! Nice. Unlimited ootoro & taiyaki for me!

Into the age-subtracting-machine we go! …although I guess the machine doesn’t fix morning baggy eyes
Cute photo! haha, I always feel like Asians look younger than they really are. When I turned 28, someone asked if I had just turned 22. It was kind of annoying when I was younger and wished I looked older, but now I don't mind it at all!
My recent post A-kon 24 re-cap
As we get older and older, we'll only appreciate it even more, hehe
You do not look 23 at all. You definitely look like you're 14 or maybe even 15. You look so adorable :3. This thing where Asians look young can be both a blessing and a curse… Like getting carded when you go somewhere where there's an age limit while your friends don't get carded. But still, youth is ftw :D.
Hahah, thank you Nancy :3 I just save myself the annoyance and just always get my ID ready for all carding situations
I feel you on this one… hahah I swear being Asian is like a guarantee that I'll look like a high school kid forever. Cute picture! The stickers really complete the anime look, haha.

Well, until we look 100 years old after menopause, apparently. LOL! :)
What I'd like to know is how you can fall asleep with a ponytail!?! Either way it's impressive. :P
Haha you look an adorable teenager…but you're actually not a teenager? Damn Asian genes!
The trick is to strategically place the hairtie away from your head and any points of pressure XD
Bahaha, that is awesome! And even with a crazy hair, you still look cute! :) I like to sleep with my hair in a loose ponytail, too, and whenever I wake up I have some especially crazy hair, especially since my hair is curly so some of it is straight and some it is still curly – it's just a mess, haha.

Don't worry Becca, I know what its like to have crazy hair as well! I actually have a straightening perm in my hair because it's naturally frizzy… (I am not blessed with typical "stick straight Asian hair") shhh
Hahahaha, good one. It's true though. I find that the darker the skin [or the more melanin you have], the longer it takes for the skin to age. Joking aside, there are elements of truth behind that. I would not have guessed that you're 23. This reminds me of a Taiwanese professor who – at age 35 – was thought to be a college student. There's definitely some correlation to say the least.
Oh my! The funny part is that I totally DON'T doubt that your Taiwanese prof was thought to be a college student at all! I see it happen waaaay too often.
Haha, I totally agree, all Asians look way younger than they actually are. It's hard to believe you're 23! And wow your hair is so neat, when I wake up, my hair is a complete mess :S.
Normally I sleep with my hair nice and blow-dried after a shower. If I slept with damp hair, I'm certain my hair would be a fun jumble :P
I honestly think I'm starting to look younger than I used to… It's okay. I'm starting to get to the age where I don't mind being carded for R rated movies or alcohol anymore… XD Maybe…

Haha that will only get more and more awesome with each passing birthday :)
